About
Jayanti Seiler is a dedicated Instructional System Designer and Curriculum Strategist focused on building scalable, performance-driven learning solutions. With a robust background in academic leadership, curriculum development, and advanced media production, Jayanti excels at translating complex organizational needs into highly engaging and measurable e-learning courses.
The Intersection of Design and Learning: Currently serving as an Instructional System Designer for the Department of Talent, Leadership and Culture at the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, Jayanti is responsible for the full learning lifecycle. In this role, she has: Developed and launched over 40 dynamic e-learning courses (synchronous, asynchronous, and hybrid) using industry-leading tools like Articulate Storyline 360 and RISE. Applied core ID methodologies including ADDIE, SAM, Dick & Carey, and Gagne's Nine Events to ensure rigorous, goal-aligned content design. Spearheaded program evaluation using the Kirkpatrick Model to measure training effectiveness and ensure a measurable return on investment for learning initiatives.
A Creative Edge in Content Development: Jayanti brings a unique strength to instructional design: extensive expertise in visual storytelling and high-fidelity media production. As a former full-time Professor and Assistant Chair of Photography and Media Studies, she spent over a decade designing and teaching rigorous curricula in photography, design, and videography. This background ensures a mastery of the Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audacity), allowing for the in-house creation of professional video assets, custom graphics, and complex visual scenarios, a critical skill for modern, visually demanding e-learning.
Strategic Voiceover Production: A key differentiator in Jayanti's design work is the ability to deliver broadcast-quality audio content with speed and efficiency. Jayanti is able to quickly produce voiceover tracks, either with her own voice or through advanced AI Voiceover tools. This in-house capability provides immediate strategic advantages to learning projects: Eliminating the need for third-party audio vendors, reducing project costs and dramatically accelerating the content delivery timeline. Decades of experience recording and editing audio ensure a consistent output that meets broadcast standards. Audio projects are structured not just for high quality, but for efficient future maintenance. This means script updates and modifications can be implemented quickly, ensuring the long-term viability of the learning asset.
Strategic Leadership and Curriculum Planning: Jayanti’s professional experience is rooted in academic leadership, demonstrating her ability to manage complex, long-term educational strategies: Chaired the College Curriculum Committee for nine years, overseeing the design, revision, and accreditation of programs, showcasing expertise in systemic curriculum architecture and governance. Led significant media projects, including the production of a documentary film featuring monologues from former foster children. This experience highlights an ability to handle sensitive topics with empathy, translate complex narratives, and produce compelling, high-stakes content, all vital for effective scenario-based ID.
Jayanti is committed to continuous professional growth and is currently pursuing a Master of Instructional System Design & Technology from the University of Central Florida (Expected Graduation 2026), building on her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Florida and Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design.
